AP Moller Maersk said on Friday that Ditlev Blicher has been appointed Regional President for North America, moving from his current role leading the Asia-Pacific region. Blicher joined Maersk in 2020 and has overseen the integration of several acquisitions and the development of the company’s end-to-end logistics offering in Asia.
Scott Andrew Elliott, currently Chief Financial Officer for the Asia-Pacific region, will step in as interim Regional President for Asia-Pacific. Elliott also joined Maersk in 2020.
In the India, Middle East and Africa region, Charles Van Der Steene has been appointed Regional Managing Director, while Guillaume Sauzedde has been named Regional Managing Director for Europe.
