Spanish bunkering company Vilma Oil Med has expanded its bunkering operations at the Port of Ceuta, strengthening its position in one of the Mediterranean’s key marine fuel hubs.

Vilma Oil Med is part of TFG Marine, the global marine fuels trading and supply group, and the latest expansion reflects the group’s continued investment in strategically important locations.

The development includes an increase in storage capacity to around 120,000 cbm, enhanced ex-pipe delivery capability, and a wider marine fuel slate covering HSFO, VLSFO and MGO.

In addition, a new IMO II chemical tanker has been added to operations in Ceuta, enabling the supply of biofuels up to B100 and supporting rising demand for lower-carbon marine fuel options.

All bunker deliveries continue to be carried out using fully calibrated, ISO 22192-certified mass flow meter systems, underscoring Vilma Oil Med and TFG Marine’s focus on accuracy, efficiency and transparency across their bunkering operations.

“We are pleased to grow our offering in the region and remain committed to continued investment in Ceuta, recognising its strategic importance in the Strait of Gibraltar and working closely with our partners to support its development as a competitive and innovative bunkering destination,” said Ernesto Fernandez-Maquieira, Director at Vilma Oil Med.
