Marine fuel additive firm Sulnox has signed a long-term global distribution agreement with Drew Marine, giving it access to the supplier’s worldwide ports and service network.
Drew Marine, which operates in more than 1,200 ports, supplies performance chemicals and fuel management services to a wide range of commercial, cruise and government vessels.
Under the deal, Drew Marine will stock Sulnox’s main product, Sulnox Eco, through its global warehouse network.
Sulnox said the agreement gives it access to new customers and regions, including China, India, Japan, Brazil and Germany.
Sulnox CEO Ben Richardson said the partnership would significantly expand the company’s global footprint.
Drew Marine CEO Scot R Benson said the company saw Sulnox’s products as a strong fit with its focus on helping ship operators improve efficiency and reduce emissions.
