Denmark’s G&O Maritime Group is expanding its footprint in green marine fuel systems through the acquisition of Hedensted-based Eltronic FuelTech, taking group turnover above DKK 1.1bn.

Agreement will see fuel-treatment products stocked in Colón to target shipping and industrial customers across the Canal region and Caribbean.

Deal would see Uruguay-produced e-methanol supplied into Europe as the partners move toward a definitive long-term offtake agreement.

APM Terminals will take a 37.5% stake in the Southern Container Terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port, with DP World retaining operational control and a majority share.
