Global bunkering company Monjasa has graduated 12 trainees from its Monjasa Oil & Shipping Trainee (MOST) programme, marking the completion of the company’s seventh trainee intake.
The trainees graduated on June 18 following the completion of the two-year programme at the Danish Shipping Education in Copenhagen.
According to Monjasa, 11 of the 12 graduates will continue their careers within the company, taking up positions across nine offices worldwide.
The graduates will join Monjasa’s trading and commercial teams in locations including Dubai, Singapore, Limassol, Athens, Shanghai, Fredericia, Panama, New York and Houston.
The graduation ceremony included remarks from Karin Glavind, Senior HR Business Partner at Monjasa, and was attended by several mentors involved in the programme.
In a message to the graduates, Tracy Tan, Group HR Director at Monjasa, encouraged them to support the next generation of trainees as they progress in their careers.
The MOST programme is designed to provide practical training and industry education for young professionals pursuing careers in shipping and marine fuel trading.
