Norwegian Car Carriers has taken delivery of its latest newbuilding, the 7,000-CEU NOCC Pacific, in Yantai, China.
The vessel is equipped with dual-fuel LNG engines and becomes one of the largest ships in the company’s modern fleet.
The name NOCC Pacific replaces the firm’s 1970-built car carrier Dyvi Pacific, which offered 2,725 CEU at the time.
The company said it extends its best wishes to the vessel and crew as the ship prepares to enter service.
