US LNG producer Venture Global has signed a new agreement to supply around 1.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG energy trader Vitol.
The five-year deal is set to begin in 2026, with volumes sourced from Venture Global’s LNG portfolio.
The agreement reflects rising global demand for flexible US LNG supply, with Venture Global highlighting its ability to offer short-, medium-, and long-term contracts. The company said the deal helps diversify the tenor of its LNG portfolio.
For Vitol, the deal expands its LNG supply base, allowing it to offer a broader mix of energy sources to customers worldwide.
LNG continues to play a key role in energy markets, particularly as countries seek reliable and comparatively lower-emission alternatives to traditional fuels.
