Phillips 66 Limited has completed the acquisition of assets and associated infrastructure from Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery Limited, finalising a deal first agreed in January.

The assets will be integrated into the company’s Humber Refinery, with a focus on enhancing storage capacity and operational flexibility to improve fuel supply across the UK.

“Completing this transaction allows Phillips 66 to play an even stronger role in supporting the UK’s fuel supply and the resilience of this critical energy infrastructure,” said Paul Fursey, Phillips 66 Limited UK lead executive. “This strategic move will unlock new growth opportunities for traditional and renewable fuels and help protect UK energy security at a time when domestic production is under pressure.”

The company said integrating the Lindsey assets will support optimisation of the Humber site and strengthen distribution capabilities for domestic customers.

Phillips 66, headquartered in Houston, operates across refining, midstream, chemicals and marketing, and has maintained a presence in the UK for more than 60 years through its Humber facility and JET retail network.
