Titan Clean Fuels has completed the 15-year Special Survey and dry docking of its LNG bunkering and multi-gas carrier Titan Unikum at Cosco Shipyard in Guangzhou, China.
“The vessel comes out of the yard in great shape, ready to keep trading for the next five years and beyond,” the Netherlands-based company said in a social media post on Wednesday.
The work also included preparations for the future installation of a Forward Manifold, which Titan said would add further LNG bunkering capability.
Titan Unikum is one of two 12,000-cbm LNG carriers acquired by Titan from Canadian gas transportation company Seapeak, formerly Teekay LNG Partners, in 2023.
The vessels were subsequently retrofitted to transport and bunker LNG and liquefied biomethane (LBM), with hydrogen-derived e-methane (e-LNG) also planned as a longer-term fuel option.
