Baghdadi Capital has launched Green Bunkers in Spain, a new platform aimed at transforming the €100 billion marine fuel supply industry through greater transparency, traceability, and sustainability.
The venture will be led by Fernando M. T. as CEO, with a focus on deploying green corridors across Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
To support this effort, the company is making up to €50 million in financing available for bunkering operations.
“With Spain as our base, we aim to build a global model for marine fuel supply that is more efficient, digital, and environmentally responsible,” the company said.
Baghdadi Capital, formed in 2023, is an independent family office led by executive chairman Baihas Baghdadi, according to the company website.
It manages over €2.2 billion in assets and operates across the United States, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
