ADNOC Logistics & Services, the Abu Dhabi-based maritime logistics and shipping company, has taken early delivery of a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier, Arada.
The vessel, with a capacity of 175,000 cbm, was built by China’s Jiangnan Shipyard and has now commenced commercial operations following delivery.
Arada is the fifth of six LNG carriers ordered by ADNOC L&S as part of its ongoing fleet expansion programme, aimed at strengthening its position in the global gas shipping segment.
The delivery was marked at the shipyard in China, with Keith Mander, Manager of Marine Projects at ADNOC Logistics & Services, attending alongside crew members and representatives from Jiangnan Shipyard.
