Authorities in Abu Dhabi are responding to a fire that broke out at a facility within the Ruwais Industrial Complex following a drone attack, according to official statements.
The competent authorities in the Emirate said emergency teams are currently dealing with the incident and confirmed that no injuries have been recorded so far.
Officials urged the public to rely only on information from official sources and avoid circulating rumours or unverified reports while the situation is being handled.
The Ruwais Industrial Complex, located in western Abu Dhabi, is one of the UAE’s largest energy and petrochemical hubs.
The incident comes amid heightened regional tensions, with several commercial vessels having recently come under attack in waters around the Strait of Hormuz and the wider Middle East region.
