Global bunkering firm Fratelli Cosulich has celebrated the keel laying of Lucia Cosulich, the second of four methanol-ready bunker tankers under construction in China.
On 9 October, the company held the keel laying ceremony at Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipyard, marking a key step in the vessel’s construction as her structure began to take shape.
The 7,999 dwt IMO type 2 chemical bunker tanker is designed to carry out methanol bunkering operations.
This milestone reflects Fratelli Cosulich’s commitment to developing a future-ready fleet and supporting the transition toward safer and more sustainable marine fuels.
