SET Schiffbau- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft Tangermünde mbH (SET), a German shipyard specialising in sustainable vessel design and construction, has been commissioned by HADAG Seetouristik und Fährdienst AG to build three fully electric ferries.
The project represents one of the most advanced initiatives in environmentally friendly mobility on water.
The vessels will be built in Tangermünde and will strengthen HADAG’s fleet serving Hamburg’s public transport network.
This latest order extends the long-standing cooperation between SET and HADAG, underscoring both companies’ commitment to innovation, engineering excellence, and the future of German shipbuilding.
