Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS), a global provider of port agency and marine services, has opened a new office in Mollendo, Peru, expanding its footprint in South America.
The company said the branch will serve both the Mollendo Terminal and the nearby Matarani Port, facilities that handle cargoes including ultra-low sulphur diesel, gasoline, grains, containers and copper concentrates.
ISS said the office will provide services including full port agency, customs clearance, P&I support, cash to master, crew logistics, husbandry services, cruise call management and protective agency.
The expansion is also intended to support the company’s entry into Peru’s dry bulk market while strengthening services for oil and gas customers operating in the region.
