Energy company Molgas has completed its first bio-LNG bunkering operation at the Port of Le Havre, supplying fuel to a UECC LNG-fuelled ship.
With this operation, the company has received a long-term permit to begin regular LNG bunkering at the French port — the country’s largest container hub and second-busiest by total cargo volume.
Molgas said the milestone was achieved through close collaboration with the port authority, agents, and dockworkers, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
By adding Le Havre to its supply network, Molgas strengthens its position in the European alternative fuels market and reinforces its commitment to sustainable maritime energy solutions.
