New Delhi, February 08, 2021: Container ship MSC ANIELLO ran aground at Livorno entrance while entering the port on arrival from Genoa, at around 0800 UTC Feb 6. For reason yet unknown, the ship strayed off fairway and headed straight for breakwater near lighthouse. The ship was refloated less than an hour later with the assistance of 3 tugs, taken to port and berthed. No information yet on probable damages according to the reports published in fleetmon.com.
