Greek shipping company Minerva has taken delivery of the newbuild liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier Minerva Amorgos.
New Delhi, October 18, 2022: The delivery took place on 14 October at Samsung Heavy Industries in Geoje, South Korea.
Minerva Amorgos is a 174,000 m3 LNG carrier which features WinGD XDF propulsion, Mark III Flex+ containment system and Airliquide subcooler system.
The carrier is flying the Malta flag and is classed by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
Last year, Minerva took delivery of the first in a series of three LNG carriers built by Samsung Heavy Industries, the Minerva Kalymnos.
