Scandinavian bunkering and trading firm ScanOcean has opened a new office in London, marking the company’s first step outside Sweden.
With existing operations in Stockholm and Gothenburg, the firm said in its LinkedIn post that the London base will allow it to work more closely with clients and partners in one of the world’s busiest trading centres.
The office, located at 126 New Kings Road, will be led by Head of Trading Christoffer Ahlqvist.
Ahlqvist relocated to London in August.
“Our new office in London allows us to better support our existing clients while also increasing our trading activities in worldwide ports, said Jonatan Karlström, Managing Director of ScanOcean.
ScanOcean was established in 2013 and offers physical supply in Sweden as well as trades globally.
