Tallink Silja Line said Silja Symphony is undergoing regular technical maintenance from 7 to 28 January at the BLRT shipyard.
The work includes upgrades to automation and navigation systems, installation of Kongsberg’s EcoPower control system to improve fuel efficiency, and maintenance of underwater components.
Passenger improvements include the addition of onboard Wi-Fi.
The vessel is due to return to service on 29 January, with Silja Serenade maintaining the Helsinki–Stockholm route during the docking period.
