New Delhi, October 26, 2023 : Two UK-based shipbuilders have been brought together to form a new global firm named APCL Group.
APCL Group has been established to operate as an umbrella organisation for UK-based firms A&P Group and Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited.
Ship repair and project management specialist Atlantic & Peninsula Australia and UK-based Neway Industrial Services will also be brought under the APCL banner. Ownership of each company has not changed, and the shareholders will remain the same.
Each company will retain their own unique identity but will also enable APCL Group to develop an all-of-one-company approach to certain major contracts and will further the company’s ambition of becoming a tier-one business.
APCL stated that, with locations in the North East, Falmouth, and North West of England as well as Australia, it would become “a true global entity” and be able to “reinforce its standing on the international stage.” according to the reports published in splash247.com .
