Maersk Tankers will continue working with ZeroNorth under an expanded agreement that now applies to about 240 vessels, including all tankers and gas carriers managed by the company.

The renewed five-year partnership broadens the deployment of ZeroNorth’s voyage optimisation and onboard decision-support systems, providing crews with real-time guidance on routing and speed.

The scope also includes fleet performance monitoring and data quality management through the SmartShip platform.

Maersk Tankers said the expanded use of digital tools is aimed at simplifying internal workflows while improving reporting and strengthening decision-making around voyage execution and operational performance.

While Maersk Tankers was one of the founding companies behind ZeroNorth, the operator said the latest agreement reflects continued confidence in the platform’s ability to deliver consistent value across a large and diverse fleet.
