VETUS has introduced the new E-LINE 22 kW electric propulsion system, marking another step forward in clean and quiet marine technology.
The E-LINE 22 kW is a fully electric inboard motor designed for boats up to 15 metres or 20 tonnes. It delivers instant torque, smooth acceleration, and zero emissions, offering boat owners a modern alternative to traditional diesel engines. The liquid-cooled system is suitable for both newbuild vessels and repowering projects.
According to VETUS, the compact design allows the motor to be installed on most existing engine foundations, making upgrades simpler and faster. The system is also modular and self-monitoring, helping operators manage performance and maintenance more easily.
With many European waterways moving towards low-emission or electric-only “green zones”, the company says the E-LINE 22 kW enables vessels to continue operating without restrictions, while reducing noise and fuel costs.
VETUS added that the new model expands its existing electric propulsion range, giving owners more flexibility to select a system that matches their vessel size and operating profile.
