Maritime technology company ZeroNorth has appointed Soren Andersen as chief executive officer, with founder and CEO Soren Meyer stepping down.
The company said the transition was agreed with its board as it moves into a new stage of growth after rapid expansion since its founding around five years ago. ZeroNorth said it now services about 6,000 vessels globally, operates offices in six locations and employs around 550 people.
Andersen joins from Unimed Maritime Solutions and StormGeo, where he served as CEO. StormGeo is a maritime software and services provider operating in a similar segment to ZeroNorth.
