Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has completed its 550th ship-to-ship LNG bunkering operation, with LNG supplied by bunkering vessel FueLNG Bellina to the company’s dual-fuel pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) Lake Villarica in Singapore.

The operation marks another step in the expansion of LNG bunkering as a routine marine fuel solution, reflecting its transition from an alternative fuel to an operationally embedded option across global fleets.

EPS said the milestone highlights the maturity of LNG bunkering infrastructure, as well as the operational discipline required to carry out such transfers safely and reliably.

LNG continues to form a core part of EPS’s transition strategy, offering lower emissions compared with conventional marine fuels while supporting compliance with tightening environmental regulations.

The company acknowledged the role of its partners, including Shell and FueLNG Private Limited, as well as shipboard and shore-based teams involved in executing the operation.
