Norwegian Energy Trading has announced a leadership change in its Singapore bunkering division, with trading manager Roger Liau stepping down after 14 years for personal reasons.
The company said Liau has been central to building its bunker trading presence in Asia and thanked him for his long service, professionalism, and contribution to its development.
Kristian Kihle, currently Business Development Director at Norwegian Energy Trading, will take over as Managing Director of the Singapore office. In his expanded role, he will lead the company’s updated bunker strategy in Asia, focusing on developing new solutions and strengthening its regional footprint.
Kihle brings extensive industry experience from previous senior roles in the bunkering sector, including overseeing operations in Singapore. The company said his leadership will support its plans to drive further growth in the regional bunker market.
