FincoEnergies has launched GoodFuels B15, a 15% FAME marine biofuel designed to give inland and coastal operators a straightforward way to reduce emissions.
The introduction follows recent regulatory clarity confirming that higher FAME blends are permitted in PRE-CCR, CCR I and CCR II engines without extra emissions testing, provided manufacturer requirements are met. Dutch authorities have also confirmed that the road-fuel 10% FAME limit does not apply to inland vessels.
GoodFuels B15 meets KBN specifications and builds on FincoEnergies’ trial results showing stable performance in real operating conditions. Produced entirely from certified waste and residue feedstocks, the blend requires no engine or infrastructure modifications.

Developed with Argent Energy, the fuel is now available through Oliehandel Terlouw, with higher blends up to B30 also offered.
