Stabilis Solutions has signed a 10-year LNG bunkering offtake agreement with Carnival Corporation to supply fuel for the cruise major’s operations at the Port of Galveston.
The deal represents the second anchor offtake agreement linked to Stabilis’ proposed Galveston LNG liquefaction project and brings total contracted volumes to approximately 55% of the facility’s planned capacity.
Under the agreement, LNG would be supplied from Stabilis’ planned Galveston facility using a proposed Jones Act-compliant LNG bunkering vessel. Deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027, subject to financing, construction of the facility and other conditions being met.
Stabilis said it is working toward a final investment decision in the first quarter of 2026 and has already completed FEL-3 engineering and secured long-lead equipment for the project.
