Blue Energy Partners has appointed Daniel Woods as Business Development Manager as it continues to expand its commercial team.

Based in Oslo, Woods will act as a link between the company’s trading desk and its global network, with a focus on strengthening commercial operations and identifying new market opportunities.

He joins with experience across marine fuels and logistics, having worked as a bunker trader and broker at World Fuel Services, and more recently in freight and supply chain roles at CEVA Logistics.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Daniel before. He’s now joining us with solid experience from two of the major trading houses, WFS and Hartree, adding both commercial insight and analytical strength to our setup,” said Camilla, Trading Director at Blue Energy Partners.

“As we continue building out our trading structure and expanding across markets, bringing in profiles like Daniel is a key part of our strategy.”

Woods said: “I’m excited to step into the role of Business Development Manager and help drive the next chapter of our growth. I look forward to building strong partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and working closely with our teams to bring even more value to our clients.”

The company said the appointment supports its plans to grow its presence in the maritime energy sector.
