Oslo-based maritime fuel operations platform Ofiniti has acquired Rotterdam-based maritime intelligence company Teqplay to expand its operational intelligence capabilities across global bunkering.
Ofiniti said the acquisition will add real-time vessel visibility, port-call analytics and benchmarking tools to its platform.
Teqplay’s digital twin technology tracks vessel and cargo movements across 490 ports in 90 countries using AIS, weather and port data.
According to Ofiniti, its platform processed more than 25,000 bunker operations in 2025, including 500,000 mt of alternative fuels.
The company said it holds around 40% market share in Singapore’s digital bunkering market.
“The merger with Ofiniti significantly expands that capability, combining Teqplay’s intelligence layer with Ofiniti’s strong position in bunker operations,” said Léon Gommans, Co-Founder of Teqplay, who will join Ofiniti as SVP Partnerships.
Ofiniti said the acquisition triples its customer base and adds a US customer base anchored by the Port of Corpus Christi.
