Singapore-based shipowner Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has taken delivery of its second LPG dual-fuel very large ammonia carrier (VLAC) from China’s Jiangnan Shipyard.
Named Lilac Cove, the 93,000-cbm vessel can run on LPG as well as conventional marine fuels and is designed to carry both ammonia and LPG cargoes, including propane and butane.
The vessel is the second of six VLACs being built for EPS at Jiangnan Shipyard. The first, Ivy Cove, was delivered in June.
