KICKSTER GROUP has added an EU Allowance (EUA) request-for-quote service to its FuelEU Maritime marketplace as it broadens the platform’s compliance offering.
The new tool allows registered users to submit requests to buy or sell EUAs and receive quotes from a regulated trading intermediary, subject to KYC and onboarding requirements.
The EUA service sits alongside KICKSTER’s existing FuelEU Maritime pooling functions and integrated FuelEU and EUA calculator.
The company said the move reflects the growing need for shipping companies to manage exposure under both FuelEU Maritime and the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS).
Under the RFQ model, KICKSTER facilitates the quotation process, while the selected trading provider acts as the counterparty for the EUA transaction.
“FuelEU pooling remains at the heart of the Marketplace, but our users are managing FuelEU and EU ETS exposure at the same time,” said Pietro Valaguzza, CEO of KICKSTER GROUP.
KICKSTER launched its FUELEU MARKETPLACE in March 2026 and has since added features including market alerts and API access to live marketplace data.
