Energy company Edison has completed Italy’s first ship-to-ship LNG bunkering for a container vessel, supplying the CMA CGM Salamanque at the Port of Trieste.
The operation was conducted using Edison’s LNG carrier Ravenna Knutsen, which has a capacity of 30,000 cbm.
The company said the milestone confirms its growing role in developing Italy’s LNG supply chain for both maritime and road transport.
