Fratelli Cosulich’s new methanol dual-fuel bunker tanker Maya Cosulich has departed the shipyard, beginning her delivery voyage and marking a significant milestone in the vessel’s construction and commissioning.

The company said seeing the vessel set sail was a moment of pride for the team behind the project, which progressed from the first steel plate to completion through months of coordinated engineering work and collaboration.

With a capacity of over 8,000 cbm, it will be able to carry both green methanol and biofuels.

Once delivered, Maya Cosulich will be chartered to TFG Marine, supporting the firm’s growing alternative-fuel bunkering operations. The tanker is set to become one of the first methanol-capable bunker vessels to operate in Singapore, adding new capacity for the developing methanol market.
