Bunker firm Hawks Singapore has received International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC), allowing the company to trade biofuels worldwide.

Hawks said the certification reflects its commitment to sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of its energy activities. The approval confirms that the biofuels it handles meet recognised sustainability and traceability standards.

The company described the step as an important part of its wider ESG plans. Hawks has been increasing its investment in cleaner energy options, and entering certified biofuel trading marks the next phase of that strategy.

With the ISCC certification in place, Hawks is now able to participate more fully in the growing global market for sustainable fuels.
