Gasum Oy, the Finland-based energy company, has filed a notification to change its legal structure to a public limited liability company (Oyj/Plc).
The filing was submitted on Friday, 20 March 2026, to the Finnish Patent and Registration Office, seeking to convert the company from a private limited liability company (Oy/Ltd).
The change is intended to enable Gasum to diversify its financing base in the future, supporting its strategic growth plans.
The move marks a structural shift that could allow the company greater flexibility in accessing capital markets going forward.
