DS NORDEN has appointed Mikkel Marconi as its new Head of Bunkers, with the role taking effect in January.
Marconi said the appointment marks a new beginning in his career, noting that he has been drawn to shipping since starting as a trainee because of the industry’s international outlook and fast-moving commercial environment.
In his new role, Marconi will help shape DS NORDEN’s future bunkering strategy, working with the company’s global teams as fuel markets evolve and the sector faces increasing regulatory and decarbonisation pressures.
He thanked DS NORDEN for the opportunity, as well as his former manager, Klaus Schinkel Stamp and Jens Malund Jensen, for their trust and support.
