Swedish e-fuels developer Liquid Wind has been declared bankrupt, with the company and its subsidiaries in Sweden, Denmark and Finland now being offered for sale.
The bankruptcy process began on May 11, with lawyer Lars Melin appointed as bankruptcy trustee to manage the proceedings.
Liquid Wind had focused on developing e-methanol projects aimed at supplying low-carbon fuel to sectors including shipping, aviation and the chemical industry.
The company said affected employees had already met with the bankruptcy trustee and legal team handling the administration process.
Liquid Wind thanked employees, customers, partners and other stakeholders for supporting the company’s work over the years.
Further information regarding the sale process and bankruptcy proceedings will be provided by the trustee and colleagues at Styrks Law Firm, the company said.
